The Week That Was

Last week was very trouble some for me despite some of the happiest moments of my life.

There was a lot of pressure because of the hacking of United We Blog! Dinesh and I were all but under desparate to get it back and frustrations were taking toll of us. But thankfully, with somehow we managed to migrate the server to ipower after buying the space. Now its functioning alright but still need some cosmetic works to get back full fledged.

Nepali U-19 team lost to England and Zimbabwe in the first round of U-19 World Cup. That was disheartening as I had hoped as a cricket fan for better performance. However, the team made all Nepali proud of them winning the plate championship beating South Africa in semifinal and New Zealand in the final. Both the wins were awesome.

However, what I missed during these two matches was my website. The cricket website has to be closed down after first innings in the semifinal after some attacks on my server. The site is still down now running and I am hoping to get it back as soon as possible.

Last, but not the least, the happiest thing was that I passed the Masters’ Level in Mass Communication and Journalism. I got 58 per cent (considering that I didn’t take even one-day leave during the exams and rarely went to college during the year, it is something to be proud of!). Sadly, I could have achieved first division with some extra labor – now I need 110 out of 100 in the thesis for that. Aha!
